Bereavement in the Secure Setting

Children in Scotland, in association with the Childhood Bereavement Network, are running a one-day seminar on thursday 7th May in the Mitchell Library, Glasgow. The seminar Bereavement in the Secure Setting: supporting bereaved young people in custody will promote practical, 'whole system' approaches to meeting their needs.

The seminar will be of interest to anyone promoting children and young people's health and well-being in secure settings, including staff from chaplaincy, healthcare, safeguarding, psychology, substance misuse, resettlement, education, personal officers, suicide prevention coordinators, advocacy services, social work, Children's Reporters, Youth Justice Teams and childhood bereavement services.
