Evaluation of ASIST Commissioned

An independent evaluation of the use and impact of ASIST in Scotland has now been commissioned. The purpose of this evaluation is to identify how ASIST's impact in the future might be strengthened and sustained. The research is being carried out by Griesbach & Associates.

Part of this evaluation will involve capturing the views of a large number of randomly selected people involved in ASIST - both as trainers and as participants. Some will be asked to complete a questionnaire, others will be asked if they are willing to take part in a focus group or telephone interview.

The evaluation is expected to be completed by January 2008.
