No Small Matter: A SURF Seminar on Small Town Regeneration

Tuesday 15th May 2007

CoSLA Conference Centre, Edinburgh

SURF is organising a seminar on new approaches to the regeneration of Scotland's small towns. 30% of Scotland's people live in small towns and they are a vital section of Scottish life, but are often neglected in national policy and resource considerations. With the right support and approach they could become models of sustainability and diversity.

SURF have a range of experienced and thoughtful speakers who will present their views on how this might become a reality. Representatives of the main national agencies will also participate in an open discussion towards a more coherent and supportive policy climate.

Please visit the SURF website for further information and to book your place: http://www.scotregen.co.uk/events/default.asp?ItemID=583

Priority and discounts will go to existing SURF members.

A limited number of specially discounted places are available for unfunded community representatives. To apply for one of these please email andymilne@scotregen.co.uk stating your interest and relevant community organisation.
