Talk To Me: A National Action Plan To Reduce Suicide And Self Harm In Wales 2008-2013
Tuesday 4th November saw the launch of the Welsh Assembly Government's national plan to reduce suicide and self-harm in Wales. The national plan has seven main aims and objectives including the promotion of mental health and well-being and working with the media to ensure appropriate reporting on mental health and suicide.
Alongside the main objectives, Mind Cymru will be involved with rolling out a number of key initiatives. These will include the commencement of the roll out of Mental Health First Aid training and the piloting of Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
