Armchair Advice: Relationship Advice & Information: Offering advice and support for those who may be experiencing the effects of relationship breakdown.

Brook: Information, advice and free contraception for the under 25’s.

Children First: Provides a confidential helpline to give callers an opportunity to 'offload' and to be pointed in the right direction for information and support.

Couple Counselling: Counselling service for couples experiencing difficulties in their relationship.

Family Outside: Provides a free, confidential national Helpline available to anyone who has a family member or friend in custody in Scotland which enables and empowers families by offering information, signposting and support.

Family Planning Association: Information, advice and support regarding contraception, safer sex and pregnancy.

Gay Health: General site covering all aspects of physical and mental health.

Gay Youth: Info, resources and support for gay youth.

Ginger Bread: Organisation supporting lone-parent families.

MOSAC: Mothers of Sexually Abused Children is a voluntary organisation supporting all non abusing parents and carers whose children have been sexually abused. Provides support, advice, information and counselling following the discovery of sexual abuse.

OPFS: Provide info about support groups and provide fact sheets for single parents.

Outlet Scotland: A Glasgow wide self-help support group aimed at supporting carers, relatives and friends of people who have a mental illness.

Parent Plus: Information and advice for anyone in a parenting role and deals with all aspects of child care including bullying, abuse and teenage problems.

Relate: Relate offers advice, relationship counselling, sex therapy, workshops, mediation, consultations and support face-to-face, by phone and through this website.

Step Family Scotland: Stepfamily Scotland provides a confidential Helpline for all members of stepfamilies and those who work with them. Also provides fact sheets and leaflets giving information about stepfamily issues such as name-changing.
