HEAT H5 Infrastructure Development Events
There are many examples of good work going on across Scotland towards meeting the target. The HEAT 5 event on 28 January 2010 is a follow on from the previous
HEAT 5 2008 Event and enabled sharing of effective practice from all over Scotland.
This is the second national event to bring together Health Board leads, Choose Life Co-ordinators and local trainers to utilise the skills and expertise in the Choose Life network to move forward strategic plans for meeting the HEAT H5 target. The event was filmed and is available for viewing at the H5 Event 2010 site. The username and password can be requested by contacting training@chooselife.net
H5 information sheets
As part of our commitment to supporting Health Boards and their partners to deliver on H5 we have been asked by a number of Boards to provide information sheets for staff who are targeted for the training.
We have developed info sheets in consultation with Boards and training co-ordinators to help with this aim. These information sheets have information about the outcomes a staff member will achieve by attending the training and give more detail on the target for those for whom it is still quite new. There is also a sheet for managers to help them understand the demands of the target and why it is important to support it by allowing staff to attend training.
