Course Costs

ASIST

In April 2005, Choose Life implemented charges for ASIST materials and issued guidance on maximum charges for training to participants. Following feedback from Coordinators and trainers across the country, this was reviewed in November 2007 and can be downloaded here.

Locally, Choose Life groups and national organisations can determine their own charges and should be contacted directly for further information.

If you would like to find out how much attending a workshop will cost in your area, please contact your local contact your local Choose Life Co-Ordinator or  holding the workshop.

The training costs £1800 per candidate which has been subsidised by Choose Life. This covers accommodation for the five days (Sunday to Thursday inclusive); all meals Monday to Friday; the training venue, trainers' materials and the training itself.

For candidates outside Scotland, training costs £2000. This includes accomodation for the five days; all meals; the training venue, trainers' materials and the training itself. Workshop materials and support are then purchased from LivingWorks Education.
