Materials for visually impaired participants - LivingWorks have developed a range of materials for participants with a visual impairment. The Suicide Intervention Handbook is available in audio CD and CD ROM and the workbook is available in Braille and in large print. You can order these by contacting the national training team at lesley@chooselife.net. Please give as much notice as possible as we keep only a small supply in stock.

Videos and DVDs - All trainers should now be using the January 2005 release videos and DVDs, Cause of Death? It Begins with You. Following your feedback about how we distribute these, we have made them available to buy. They cost £60 each and you can order them by filling in this order form. We will still keep a supply nationally that can be borrowed to give you the option of sticking to the current system. Please make sure that you send back any video or DVD that you have borrowed after every workshop if you do not wish to keep your own locally. If you currently have one, please either send it back to the national office or let us know if you would like to keep it permanently and we will invoice you for it.

Choose Life postcards - You may have noticed an addition to your ASIST packs over the last month with the inclusion of Choose Life postcards. These can be filled in by ASIST participants and sent back to us and we will send them regular updates with Choose Life and/or SIREN news.

Half price materials offer! - To mark International Suicide Prevention Awareness Day (10 September) LivingWorks are offering half price ASIST materials for any workshops that are held between 7-13 September inclusive. Dates need to be sent to Choose Life before 1 September to take advantage of this offer and materials will then be charged at £300 for a box of 24 kits plus P&P. We hope as many of you as possible take advantage of this great offer and reach out widely to encourage as many people as possible to get involved in suicide prevention.

SuicideTALK Handouts - Again following feedback from trainers, LivingWorks have updated handout number 9 in the SuicideTALK pack (Suicide Prevention in Schools). If you use SuicideTALK, please download the new handout and update your pack!
